La britannica WE ARE POP UP si allea con ETSY ITALIA per lanciare lo “ shop-share” anche nel nostro Paese

We Are Pop Up, the UK digital property marketplace, is targeting the Italian market with the launch of its shop-sharing service, which allows different brands to pop up in the same space.

With ShopShare, property owners can rent out a whole shop or part of a shop to pop-ups, giving brand owners a chance to test the market by temporarily taking a small retail space like a railing or a concession space.

We Are Pop Up teamed up with Etsy Italia, the Italian arm of the world’s most vibrant handmade marketplace, offering small businesses and established brands an opportunity to move into bricks and mortar and test the Italian retail market.

We Are Pop Up is the only commercial property marketplace that directly connects brands looking for venues with available spaces, providing a disruptive alternative to commercial property agents. Since it was formed in 2013, it has helped create over 1,500 pop up shops across London, the UK and Europe.

We Are Pop Up and Etsy have already collaborated to help set up creative businesses in London. Etsy’s mission is completely in line with the ShopShare platform: to build an authentic and community-centric global and local marketplace. Etsy Italia regularly holds events in their stores to provide brand owners with useful entrepreneurship advice.

With the launch of ShopShare, 14 available spaces in Rome and Milan have already registered with We Are Pop Up. They are seeking brands looking to share a store to test a concept in Italy or launch a product to the Italian market.

There is currently a great opportunity for a new brand or idea to ShopShare at Rome’s latest food hotspot, Porto Fluviale. Built in a 900sqm ex-warehouse, it now houses a Trattoria, a pizzeria, a bar, a lounge and a street-food kitchen. Three areas are available in the building to rent space for as little as €18 a day alongside other tenants.

Nicholas Russell, CEO of We Are Pop Up, said: “We are very excited to bring ShopShare to Italy. Our concept has proved successful in London and it is time to give brands the opportunity to test the Italian market and create new collaborations on the continent.”
