L’ inglese BMO Real Estate Partners acquista l’ immobile Coin Excelsior a Roma

BMO Real Estate Partners has acquired the property of the luxury department store COIN EXCELSIOR in Rome for the portfolio of its pan-European property investment strategy. The building is located close to St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums on Via Cola di Rienzo, one of the city’s main shopping streets.

The property has a rental space of 7,246 square meters in total, spread over three floors. It was sold by a consortium of local private investors. The purchase price was not disclosed. BMO Real Estate Partners was advised on the purchase by MF Studio Legale and MF Real Estate.

“We are very pleased that we were able to acquire this first-class property in a prime location of Rome for the fund”, says Ian Kelley, Fund Director Europe at BMO Real Estate. “This transaction shows that we can provide attractive and sought-after properties for our investors in prime European cities.”

The pan-European property investment strategy invests in high-quality retail properties in prime shopping streets of major European cities and is aimed at institutional investors. The property in Rome is the fourth purchase for the portfolio, which was launched in October 2015. Previously, BMO Real Estate Partners already acquired three retail properties in Paris and Barcelona.
