L’ italiana “Osteria Morini” debutta al “Roosevelt Field” a Long Island, NY

Simon, a global leader in premier shopping, dining, entertainment, and mixed-use destinations, is pleased to welcome two new restaurants from highly acclaimed chefs to Roosevelt Field. Small Batch, the newest restaurant concept from Tom Colicchio and Crafted Hospitality, will open its doors this fall and Osteria Morini, The Altamarea Group and Chef Michael White’s famed neighborhood Italian restaurant, will open at Roosevelt Field next summer.

“Simon is committed to bringing top-rated chefs with best-in-class dining experiences to our properties,” said Eric Sadi, Executive Vice President Leasing for Simon. “With the popular Dining District and the debut of restaurants such as Small Batch and Osteria Morini, Roosevelt Field is world-class in dining as well as shopping.”

Introduced in 2010 in Manhattan’s SoHo district, Osteria Morini brings the cuisine of Northern Italy’s Emilia-Romagna to Roosevelt Field. Osteria Morini in Roosevelt Field will incorporate touches of rustic charm with a more contemporary and industrial edge. At Osteria Morini, expect to feel at home with the comforting and familiar foods of Northern Italy, including their renowned fresh made pastas, delicious cured meats, fresh fish and prime cuts of meat. It is the perfect place to share and try different dishes with a wine list that is both approachable and varied.

“Osteria Morini is a comfortable and familiar dining experience, from the very first visit. It is your home kitchen away from home. Guests immediately feel like a regular with the warmth of ambiance and the authentic dishes on the menu to share,” explains Ahmass Fakahany, CEO & Owner of Altamarea Group. “Chef Michael White and I are delighted to capture and bring this dining experience from Italy to Soho New York to the neighborhood at Roosevelt Field.”
