Svezia, Catella aumenta la propria partecipazione in IPM

Catella increases its ownership of asset manager IPM Informed Portfolio Management (IPM) from 25 percent to approximately 51 percent through a share purchase. The purchase price is approximately SEK 25.7 million and a potential additional payment.
“Catella has extensive experience in fund management and we already offer active fund management in the asset classes equities, property and fixed income. Through our part ownership of IPM we gain expertise and receive exposure to systematic management. IPM also brings a global service and a broad international client base,” says Knut Pedersen, President and CEO Catella.
Catella’s ownership of IPM was previously 25 percent. This shareholding was acquired in November 2011 and in December 2012. Catella has now entered into an agreement to acquire additional shares for a consideration of approximately SEK 25.7 million, and a potential additional payment related to IPM’s future performance. Catella’s ownership, directly and indirectly, after the acquisition will amount to approximately 51 percent. IPM thus becomes a subsidiary and will be consolidated from the date the shares are taken up, which occurs once the conditions for approved ownership assessment are met. Catella’s increased ownership does not affect IPM’s current organisation or direction.
“I welcome Catella as our principal owner and I believe that our business will continue to develop positively together with Catella,” says Anders Lindell, CEO IPM.
