«Fairfax, an independent, international investment bank, is pleased to announce that it is acting as Nominated Adviser and Broker to Terra Catalyst Fund, a closed-ended property company, which announces its first day of dealings today. It is the largest IPO on AIM so far this year and Fairfax raised £116.3m in the institutional placing.
Terra is a closed-ended quoted property company, registered in the Cayman Islands. Its strategy is to invest in undervalued listed property companies and funds in Europe with the aim of achieving an absolute return for shareholders through capital growth. Laxey Partners Ltd has been appointed as investment manager. Terra intends to be substantially fully invested within six months of admission.
