CoreNet Global EMEA Summit : 500 delegati ad Amsterdam

On Monday, almost 500 senior Corporate Real Estate professionals from 23 countries across the globe were welcomed to Amsterdam for this year’s annual CoreNet Global’s EMEA Summit (9-11 September).

2013 marks the second time that the Summit has been held in Amsterdam, and the third time it has been hosted in the Benelux region, following a successful event in Brussels in 2009.
This year’s event will focus on many of the challenges currently faced by enterprises. The programme will encompass an exploration of the role of corporate real estate in preparing for the economic upturn; an examination of how CRE leaders can influence and guide the implementation of strategic decisions; and an overview of corporate real estate’s role in human capital, as work is increasingly viewed as a social experience.
Delegates travelled from across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa, Oceania and Asia to attend the annual European Summit. The top five represented countries in attendance are the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, USA, Germany and France. Attendees comprise corporate real estate executives and portfolio managers, real estate consultants and economic developers.
Major corporate occupiers presenting during the comprehensive programme include Vodafone, Deloitte, AstraZeneca, Nokia, Shell and Johnson Controls, joining many other leading corporate real estate experts such as service providers, academics, economic developers and consultants.
Monique Arkesteijn, Head of CoreNet Global’s Benelux Chapter, said, “We are especially delighted to welcome this global array of Corporate Real Estate professionals to Amsterdam. This year’s Summit has attracted many leading corporations from across the globe, and the event promises to be insightful and exciting. The Benelux region has hosted some of the most successful EMEA Summits previously, and with strong delegate numbers for this year’s Summit we expect the trend to continue.”
