Round Hill Capital chiude un Fondo Multifamily da €200 mn: investirà in Europa

Round Hill Capital, a leading global real estate investment, development and asset management firm, announces that it has completed the €200 million first close of a new, closed-end, Core / Core Plus comingled investment fund, European Residential Income Fund II (ERIF II).

ERIF II received strong demand from new and existing Round Hill Capital investors, including institutional investors from North America, Asia and Europe.

The fund will be managed by Round Hill Capital and will invest in multifamily housing assets with mass market affordability in strong micro-locations that exhibit positive demographic and macroeconomic trends, persisting supply/demand imbalances and strong transport links. The geographic focus is selected Eurozone markets including Germany, the Netherlands, the Nordic markets as well as the wider Eurozone.

Round Hill Capital will strategically deploy the equity committed to ERIF II into its extensive pipeline of attractive opportunities. Round Hill Capital has strong local teams within the target markets with sourcing/acquisition and management expertise and intimate market knowledge, which are complemented by its established in-house investment and asset management capabilities.

ERIF II will benefit from Round Hill Capital’s specialist expertise in residential real estate strategies where it has an 18-year track record of successfully investing in, developing and responsibly operating residential housing assets across Europe and demonstrable experience in active value creation.

Rental housing has proved to be resilient throughout market cycles, remaining shielded from cyclical trends and is already being shown to be a defensive real estate sector amid the uncertainties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Since inception in 2002, Round Hill Capital has acquired and repositioned for long-term institutional ownership over 110,000 residential units and student housing beds. Round Hill Capital is a responsible landlord of assets offering housing to a range of occupants, from students through to senior citizens.
