Construction work on the 46,000 square meters Potsdamer Platz Arkaden, one of Berlin’s best-known shopping addresses, begins in April. However, the redesign will not only bring the Arkaden up to the latest technical standards. Brookfield Properties, the asset manager of Potsdamer Platz, has developed a new concept for the location and has added an international sustainable market hall concept as a new anchor tenant. In addition, the company is working together with Berlin’s central district Mitte to improve the experience of residents, pedestrians and consumers on the streets and squares at Potsdamer Platz.
On March 17, in the course of a panel discussion we would like to give you information on the above-mentioned topics. On stage:
• • Stephan von Dassel, District Mayor, district of Berlin Central
• • Karl L. Wambach, Executive Vice President Europe, Brookfield
• • Jonathan Doughty, Director Foodservice, Leisure and Placemaking, ECE
• • and others
